Notes

The Notes page allows authorized users to enter and maintain notes for a record. The additional information can be sent to individuals or groups of users. Many processing components and features within New World ERP contain a Notes tab or sub-tab.

Although the Notes page appears throughout New World ERP, it works identically in all cases. To view or add notes, follow the steps below: 

  1. Click the Notes icon at the top of the page.

  2. Click Newto add a new note.
  3. Enter or select the Subject of the note. The first time notes is used, there are no options to select. Notes are saved so they can then be selected later for notes that are sent frequently. This value is required.
  4. In Notify User, select the user who should receive the notification. Click on the icon if you want to send the notification to multiple users.
  5. Enter a Notify Date, if desired. If a date is entered, the user(s) are notified on that date. If no date is entered, the notification is sent immediately.
  6. Enter the Notes text. This value is required; it is the message that is being used to communicate the note.
  7. Click Save to send the note; click Save/New if you need to add another note at this time. The list of notes sent display on the left-hand side of the page.
